My name is Jessca Reeves, I was born and raised in Idaho. I have been around the towing industry my entire life, but it became my everyday life in 2010 when my father purchased ACT Towing. I remember. the late hours, the limited time off and my favorite of all when I could join him on a tow. In 2016 my dad asked me to come work for him, which was the greatest offer I could have imagined. After I started working at ACT Towing, my husband followed suit. Shortly after my dad, Scott Kohn, moved to Garden Valley to branch out. Andy (my husband) and I took over Boise. My father was unfortunately diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in October of 2020. That same month the Idaho Towing Association put on a ride to show support to my father while he was in the hospital. He was able to see tow trucks, personal vehicle, and police officers from the window, and was in complete shock. Companies that weren’t even part of the Association showed up to pay their respects. I honestly cannot think of another time I have seen so many of us come together. This is when I absolutely knew I was in the best industry I could be in. I knew I would also fight hard to keep everyone together and continue to support one another. In November of 2020 my father passed away, leaving the company to my husband and I. Since then, we have done everything we can to “Live Like Scott”. We have had an amazing support system throughout the industry, and the Association. We will always do our best to give back. I am very thankful to be able to be the District Three Director and I hope together we can all continue to change the industry for the better. I will always try my best to make sure we are making this industry a better place for our kids, our customers, and anyone else who may need us.
